The Custodian of Astan Quds Razavi emphasized the necessity of developing the knowledge-based economy to realize the economy of resistance and establish sustainable occupations.

According to the information center of national elites foundation, quoted by the public relations headquarter of Astan News, Hojatoleslam Ahmad Marvi pointed out the statements of the Supreme Leader regarding attention to science and technology during his meeting with Sorena Sattari, the vice president for science and technology affairs held in Velayat Hall of the holy shrine of Imam Reza, expressing: according to the guidance of the Supreme Leader, Astan Quds Razavi will help the knowledge-based economy and development of scientific companies in line with the realization of economy of resistance.

He considered income generation and economic profitability as the necessities of each economic activity, asserting: nevertheless, Astan Quds Razavi does not purse economic profitability and earning a return in the field of economic activities. We are willing to overlook the large benefits obtained to solve the country’s problems.

The custodian of Astan Quds Razavi regarded the import mafia as one of the major problems of domestic producers.

Hojastoleslam Marvi mentioned that Astan Quds Razavi is completely prepared to cooperate with the Vice-Presidency and the orders are made to hold meetings with the vice president in line with the development of cooperation of the two organizations.

In addition, Sattari presented a report on the performance of the Vice-Presidency and pointed out the role of the Supreme Leader in the scientific development of the country. In this regard, he marked: the Supreme Leader has always supported the youth and science production, which has paved the way for growth of science and expansion of knowledge-based economy in the country.

The vice president for science and technology affairs pointed out the cooperation with Astan Quds Razavi, affirming: cooperation with Samen Pharmaceutical Co. and producing eight-factor drugs, despite all pressures from importing systems, have been among the cooperation areas of the two organizations.

The president of the national elites foundation emphasized the importance of cooperation of Astan Quds Razavi in scientific fields, declaring: the knowledge-based economy requires the serious support of Astan Quds Razavi since its entrance will lead to the entrance of many other organizations.

Pointing out that knowledge-based economy will increase added value, Sattari expressed: we do not expect mere investment but rather demand cooperation in solving occupation, production, and economic problems.
