According to the information center of national elites foundation,Last month, Saeed Namaki, the minister of health, prohibited the export and exit of the masks until further notice in a letter to the country's customs authorities so that the ministry, as the main customer and buyer of the masks, would store it in the country.
In this regard, Nasim Gholam Shahbazi, the CEO of “Nano Tar Pak”, producer of cotton respiratory masks, expressed: according to the issued directive, the company’s products will only be delivered to the ministry of health and no product will be given to any of the distribution companies.
This technology activist continued: the company is subject to existing laws and currently no orders are being sold to companies or buyers other than the Ministry of Health under orders issued. In addition, the ministry of health decides how and when the masks will be distributed.
