Science promotion will be localized in the country; starting activities in five provinces
Iran national science foundation has considered various programs to promote science and technology activists. Establishment of the secretary of science promotion in different universities has been one of these measures. In this regard, opening of five secretaries has been finalized.
The first secretariat for the promotion of science has been opened in Tabriz University, the main goal of which is accelerating the pace of scientific current in the country considered by the fund. In this regard, the establishment of the secretariat for the promotion of science in universities was considered in order to accelerate the optimal use of talents, facilities, potential and actual capabilities to promote science and technology in the country.
According to the information center of national elites foundation, Therefore, the first step was establishing a secretariat in universities of five provinces of East Azerbaijan, Isfahan, Fars, Razavi Khorasan, and Tehran.
In order to implement the scientific policies developed in the comprehensive scientific map of the country, the secretariats will work in networking activists and effective promoters of science in that province and neighboring provinces, holding extension programs and supporting science promotion groups.
Cooperation with holding science and research festivals, cooperation to implement joint projects in the field of science promotion and cooperation for networking of activists and most effective science promotion will occur in collaboration with the secretariat and the fund.
In addition, the first meeting of activists and effective people to promote science and technology has been held by allocating physical space and creating a native structure. The meeting was attended by provincial authorities and activists of science promotion in the province to assess the primary program of science promotion. The secretariat has also cooperated with festivals such as PANASE and has assessed projects in science promotion calls.
