A proper opportunity has been made to gather domestic and foreign experts in the cognitive science field by holding the 8^th international conference of cognitive science.

According to the information center of national elites foundation, The purpose of this event is to establish scientific interactions to develop and expand research activities and interdisciplinary collaborations. The conference will be held in April by the support of the cognitive sciences and technologies development headquarter and the institute of higher education of cognitive sciences at Shahid Beheshti University.

At the conference, scientific and research topics will be discussed in the form of lectures and scientific roundtables, workshops and presentations in the form of lectures and posters.

Cognitive neurology, cognitive psychology, cognitive education, cognitive linguistics, philosophy of mind, artificial intelligence, cognitive modeling, cognitive rehabilitation, clinical neurology, social cognition, cognitive assessment, cognitive and media sciences, cognitive science and design and creativity are among the topics of the scientific event.

Alireza Moradi, the head of the conference, mentioned: by gathering domestic and foreign experts, as well as young researchers and students, an opportunity is made to use the valuable scientific achievements of basic research or applied studies in the form of conference fields.

Moradi also affirmed: cognitive science is the crossroads of the intersection of neuroscience, various branches of medicine including brain imaging, psychiatry, elderly medicine and engineering and computer science, cognitive linguistics, philosophy of mind, cognitive education, cognitive psychology, social cognition, and is therefore an opportunity to for discourse by a wide range of experts.

The conference will be held April 15^th-17^th, 2020 with the cooperation of the cognitive sciences and technologies development headquarter and Shahid Beheshti University in cooperation with various scientific and research units and universities.
