Given the existence of several players in this area, the Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs has aimed to identify and gather these individuals under one roof.


According to the information center of national elites foundation, The IoT is used to improve the business space of creative researchers and entrepreneurs in Iran. If the special infrastructure of this advanced technology is created in the country with the help of international forums, it will provide a wide space for business.


The digital economy and automation technologies development headquarter is one of the effective centers in this regard, which has attempted to complete the innovation and technology ecosystem in this field. Therefore, it seeks to gather the players of the field, who play an effective role in the development of the ecosystem.


The headquarter has prioritized the identification and support of these activities, which occurs at the heart of the innovation and technology ecosystem and identifies and supports the creative players in the IoT field. The IoT working group has been developed to facilitate the activities of knowledge-based companies and startups in the field. To date, 160 knowledge-based companies are active in the IoT field, which can increase Iran's share of the $2 trillion IoT market. This market is projected to reach $4 trillion over the next six years.
