According to the information center of national elites foundation,the vice president for science and technology affairs continued: during the first days of development of the knowledge-based ecosystem in the country, the cooperative organizations were emphasized. This issue has been assessed in various meetings with the current authorities of the country, such as the managers of the Ministry of Cooperatives, Labor, and Social Welfare.

Oil Management Thinking

Pointing out the necessity of provision of some prerequisites for technology development in the country's cooperative sector, Sattari mentioned: we should note that an ecosystem is not created in an instant moment and creating innovation by untargeted loans will result in oil management, thinking and damages.

The president of the knowledge-based economy and culture-building technologies development headquarter talked about the high potentials of the human resources in the country, expressing: innovation in Iran has been upgraded from 120 to 61, and the country has been able to gain top ranking in many areas of the humanities.

Keeping up with Developments

Sattari marked: This suitable context can be used by the cooperative sector, and cooperatives that insist on continuing their traditional way of thinking may be disintegrated in the years to come.

The president of the national elites foundation introduced the adaptation of the cooperative sector to new conditions as a prevention method, asserting: cooperatives can be the pioneer in bold venture capital investing in startups by identifying new opportunities and ideas. Establishing specialized innovation centers, especially for the cooperative sector, are other areas where the cooperative sector and large cooperatives can take the lead.

Sattari continued: the Vice-Presidency is prepared to seriously support the innovative cooperative sector within the framework of regulations.

Bahman Abdollahi, the head of the cooperative chamber of Iran, pointed out the important tasks carried out in this sector, affirming: the cooperative sector has seen little growth, but its management intends to focus more on qualitative development than ever before.
