Given the importance of assessing patients and the consequences of corona, the national study of COVID-19 disease was designed with the support of the deputy of research of the ministry of health in collaboration with medical universities of the country.

According to the information center of national elites foundation, in this study, co-operative networks collect and record data on the diagnosis, clinical course, complications and consequences of patients (COVID-19) who have been hospitalized in the country's medical universities, and the will be analyzed and published in collaboration with partner centers.

In addition to the mentioned issues, the research will focus on designing specific studies for each patient with diabetes, cardiovascular diseases, cancer, or pregnancy as nested case-controls to assess the specific clinical indexes and the diseases and their consequences. The research will determine the suffering of patients compared to other individuals with COVID-19.

Collaboration with international networks on the symptoms and clinical course of patients with COVID-19 will also be among the goals of this study. The results of this study will be used for disease management (COVID-19) in hospitals as well as grouping high-risk patients and treatment plans.
