D8 technology transfer and exchange network (D8-TTEN) will hold the second technology investment meeting (TIM) with the cooperation of different scientific and research units. Milad Sadr-Khanlou, the secretary of the TIM and president of the national technomart of Iran, announced the time of the meeting, declaring: one of the concerns of international investment is the creation of financial and technical infrastructures of knowledge and technology companies.
According to the information center of national elites foundation,In the meeting, it is aimed to use the investment potentials of Islamic developing countries. In addition to creating a network of venture capitals, the foundation is laid for member countries to share their investment opportunities and resources.
He continued: in the first round of the event, we formed four specialized panels, where the managers of venture capitals from different countries evaluate current investment issues. Some of the achievements of the investment meeting include concluding a contract between Shenasa Co. and two venture capitals from Turkey and Malaysia. In addition, an investment was made by one of the venture capitals inside the country with a value of $22 billion, and we hope that these achievements will increase in the meeting.
Sadr-Khanlou added: some of the goals of the meeting include "investing in international investment opportunities", "creating a network of domestic and foreign investors", and "funding the knowledge and technology companies".
Secretary of TIM talked about the meeting’s programs, explaining: in addition to specialized panels, various programs will be provided including presenting investment opportunities, startup stories, introducing the selected domestic and international startups and educational workshops.
Speaking at the event's panel, the head of the National technomart of Iran added: three specialized panels will focus on participatory investment, investment risk coverage and stock subtraction.
