During this visit, Dehghani considered the activity of this center to be a model and a successful example of the link between innovations and technologies to the market and added: that being a platform for training people and being in the heart of medical equipment and becoming a productive force is a suitable model and it is good

He considered attention to the needs of the market and the movement of problem definition to solve the problems and needs of the medical industry as one of the characteristics of this complex and added: the use of expert and experienced personnel is one of the other characteristics of this center. I hope that this center will continue its movement and can be a model so that other centers can use this model in the best way in the development of technology and market development of knowledge-based products.

Referring to the support for the model of development in technological products centered on academicians and professors, the head of the National Elites Foundation said: To support centers like this, which are models, several mechanisms have been defined, and the creation of a comprehensive cooperation platform and the definition of specific axes can be used as The beginning of this path and the basis of cooperation.

Referring to the support of the Vice Presidency of Science, Technology and Knowledge-Based Economy on technological and economy-oriented models in the form of a comprehensive cooperation package, Dehghani said: The Vice Presidency of Science and the Research Institute in the form of a comprehensive package define the axes of cooperation in the form of a two-year contract to complete the chain value and development of medical equipment technology should be defined according to the needs and priorities of the market. In the framework of this comprehensive package of cooperation, several important strategic projects in the field of medical equipment are defined.

Saeed Sarkar, the head of the Research Institute of Advanced Medical Technologies and Equipment, also stated in this visit: The Research Institute has tried to take a step in the direction of meeting the advanced needs of the field of medical equipment with the help of researchers and specialists, and we have mainly taken steps in the direction of products and services that the company were not active in those areas and there were serious gaps.

Emphasizing the need-oriented and problem-solving approach in product development, Sarkar said: I believe that the article should be one of the side products of technology, and we followed the work in technology development with this approach. Due to the fact that these products are used in the medical field, this center has been established in the heart of the hospital. All defined projects are defined in technical and clinical format.

It should be noted that the Institute of Advanced Medical Technologies and Equipment was established 27 years ago in the Imam Khomeini Hospital Complex in Tehran. The aim of this research group is to develop technology in its perspective. Currently, with 40 approved patents of international registration, the ability to enter various products into the medical market has been provided by knowledge-based companies in the field of medical equipment that are partners of this research institute, and more than 200 people have graduated doctorate and post-doctorate operate on defined projects of the research institute of technologies and Advanced medical equipment.

Among the advanced medical products developed with the help of the Vice Presidency of Science, Technology and Knowledge-Based Economy and this research institute, we can mention the Sina surgical assistant robot, heart scanning machine, preclinical micro CT scanning machines, PET imaging system, laparoscopic surgery simulator and biopsy sampling equipment.
