Emphasizing that domestic universities must be the place for improving entrepreneurship, occupation formation, entrepreneurship and penetration of domestic culture to the world, Sattari stated: we will win the cultural and economic wars by commercializing human sciences.

According to the information center of national elites foundation, students of Imam Sadeghi University started their first day in the presence of Sorena Sattari, the vice president for science and technology affairs. This phenomenon will contribute to the development of innovation and technology in the university.

During the ceremony of beginning of the academic year, Sattari marked: the main goal of university development is hoping to solve society’s problems with the help of indigenous models of domestic universities. Universities must be formed and developed with native models based on community culture.

Emphasizing that domestic universities must be the place for improving entrepreneurship, occupation formation, entrepreneurship and penetration of domestic culture to the world, Sattari expressed: today, a new generation of entrepreneurs has been injected to the society, which will pave the way for advancement with a correct attitude toward humanities.

Human Sciences Are Developed in the Country Based on Public Culture of the Society

The president of the knowledge-based economy and culture-building technologies mentioned that rebuilding the Iranian culture is only possible through the development of human resources in the country. In this regard, he added: commercialization of human sciences is the missing circle of the country. In fact, this applied science is required to win the cultural and economic wars.

Sattari reminded the concepts of sacrifice and devotion, affirming: we must rebuild some notions in the country. The Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs considers Imam Sadeghi University the cradle of universities established based on domestic concepts of the country.

The president of the national elites foundation continued: the Vice-Presidency emphasizes the competition of the innovation and growth center in Imam Sadeghi University and welcoming of formation of science and technology parks around the university. It is believed that this type of park can encompass different companies working in the field of human sciences.  

In another part of his speech, the vice president for science and technology affairs asserted: given the presence of foreign products in the country, Iran’s market must be in a way that it could sell products to Iranians and foreigners. It is degrading to lose our market’s identity and originality. Iran had a top rank in science and culture in the world, and we must rebuild those historical days.

Universities Must Become a Part of Culture, Economy, and Society

Sattari pointed out that university must be a part of society and culture, marking: universities must lose their walls and become a part of the culture, economy and society. These universities must be the focal point for development of the country and must use human sciences in all fields.

In the end, the vice president for science and technology affairs mentioned: we must work on the commercialization of human resources since it can contribute to the flourishing of Iranian culture and indigenous requirements.  

It Is Crucial to Form Human Sciences Parks

Hojatoleslam Hossein Ali Sadi, head of Imam Sadeghi University, stated: one of our programs in the university is establishing a science and technology park on human sciences, which will help the activity of soft and identity-making companies.

At the end of the ceremony, the permanent exhibition of martyrs of Imam Sadeghi University was unveiled in the presence of Sorena Sattari.
