The Vice-Presidency for science and technology affairs unveiled the support package for knowledge-based companies and startups working in the online, digital and virtual field to create an opportunity for the development of online services in the battle against corona.

The establishment of several innovation centers, accelerators and cultural foundations in the field of creative and cultural industries was one of the achievements in this field in 2019. Strengthening financial tools, cluster support and recognition and qualification of 1300 new creative companies and reaching the number of 2000 creative companies are among the programs of 2020.

President Hassan Rouhani spoke with the Vice-President for Science and Technology and appreciated the very effective work of knowledge-based companies in fighting coronavirus, instructing him to carry out the necessary measures for transfer of experience and using other countries’ plans and experience in producing necessary medicine and equipment for fighting coronavirus.

The production line of two types of Coronavirus diagnostic kits includes PCR-based analysis kits and serology kits were unveiled in “Pishtaz Teb” knowledge-based company in the presence of Sorena Sattari, the vice president for science and technology affairs to take an effective step toward the fight against corona with the help of the innovation and technology ecosystem.

Creative ideas that are evident in the service presentation model and type of service and this innovation distinguishes them from others. The joint scientific projects of Iran and Brazil will be supported by signing a memorandum of understanding between Iran national science foundation and the Brazilian Sao Paulo Research Foundation.
