“Innovation and Technology Zone” Hosted the Technology Activists of Isfahan
Along with the Fajr Decade and in the presence of the vice president for science and technology affairs, the innovation and technology zone of the University of Isfahan, including Entertainment Industry Innovation Center, Growth Center of Technological Units, Comprehensive Technology Corridor and Creative Industries Accelerator, and Fab Lab in an area of 32 hectares.

According to the information center of national elites foundation,, the “innovation and technology zone of Isfahan” was opened at the University of Isfahan in the presence of Sorena Sattari, the vice president for science and technology affairs.
During the opening ceremony of the center, Sattari pointed out that the ecosystem of innovation and entrepreneurship has entered universities, adding: fortunately, the University of Isfahan has taken steps on the path of supporting innovation and guiding students to reach the entrepreneurship path.
Pointing out that the new attitude of universities to support entrepreneurship has doubled the responsibility of all society sectors, he marked: the Vice-Presidency has helped universities to form growth centers, accelerators and innovative businesses, which has increased the accountability of universities.
Sattari talked about the support of equipment and improving the infrastructures for creative youth and growth of technological businesses, adding: we are prepared to support the comprehensive project of University of Isfahan to establish an innovation zone and factory. We have the capacity to finish the construction of the place by the end of the year.
The president of the knowledge-based economy and culture-building technologies development headquarter emphasized the necessity of opening the doors of universities and research centers to technology activists and creative human assets, adding: having a significant number of out-of-campus students and technology activists in the area is a must-have for the university. Other students should be able to travel easily in the area and translate their ideas into business.
